We process certain personal data in order to provide our services, sell goods and operate the website. The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data ("GDPR").
I. Processing of Personal Data
A. Contact Form
If you contact us via the contact form, we will process the contact details you provide to us — in particular your first name, last name and e-mail address.
Why? So that we can contact you and respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — negotiation of a contract, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request.
How long? If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for no longer than 1 year from our last communication.
B. Purchases in the E-shop
If you make a purchase with us, we will process the data you provide when placing your order — in particular your first name, last name, delivery address, e-mail address and phone number.
Why? To fulfil the contract — to deliver the Goods to you and communicate with you regarding your order status, complaints or enquiries. We also process personal data to comply with our legal obligations (accounting and tax purposes, handling complaints).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with our legal obligations.
How long? For the duration of the contract and thereafter for 5 years from delivery of the goods (the statutory retention period for accounting documents).
C. Website Traffic Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to analyse traffic on our website and evaluate how it is used.
Why? To understand how visitors use our website so that we can continue to improve it.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent given via the cookie banner.
How long? For the duration of your consent, but no longer than the set duration of the relevant cookies (see the table in Section IV).
II. Who Has Access to Your Data?
Your data stays with us. However, certain companies that help us operate the e-shop have access to it on our behalf:
We process personal data primarily within the territory of the European Union. Where Google Analytics is used, some data may also be transferred outside the EU, under the safeguards provided by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
III. What Else You Should Know
Our company does not have an appointed Data Protection Officer.
Our company does not carry out any decision-making based on automated processing or profiling.
